Organized under the theme « Happy New Year to the Children », this event brought together over 1,500 children around the Minister of National Education and Literacy, Professor Mariatou Koné.
Among the awardees, Dogoni Kolo Ramatou, a student in the CE1 class at the Dossafé Fofana 2 Public Primary School (EPP), particularly stood out with an impressive average of 17.23 out of 20. Speaking on behalf of the recipients, she expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Minister Mariatou Koné. "On behalf of all the beneficiaries, we want to express our deep gratitude for what you do for us, mama. We promise to work hard at school," she said.
For her part, Professor Mariatou Koné extended her New Year’s wishes to the entire local educational community before emphasizing the importance of excellence. « Dear children, dear parents, I am very happy to be with you today. We have more than 1,500 children gathered here. This moment of sharing and unity is meant to reward the best students and encourage children from vulnerable families to continue their efforts », she stated.
She also urged the students to persevere in their studies and respect their mentors and elders. During the ceremony, many gifts were presented, including bicycles and school kits.
