As part of her new role, the newly appointed Deputy Director General for Administrative Affairs in Maritime Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Ninsemon Kida Rose, was received on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at her residence in Cocody, Abidjan, by the Mediator of the Republic, Adama Toungara. The purpose of the meeting was for him to offer advice for the success of her mission at the helm of this new position, as well as to congratulate her on her promotion. Adama Toungara advised the Lieutenant Colonel to persist in her efforts, maintain integrity, and remain loyal to the State.
He urged her not to rest on her laurels but to continue giving her best to contribute to the strengthening of the maritime administration. The Mediator of the Republic also expressed his gratitude and recognition to President Alassane Ouattara for this promotion, which, according to him, affirms the president's commitment to promoting excellence and gender equality within the public administration.
Additionally, Lieutenant Colonel Ninsemon Kida Rose, Deputy DirectorGeneral in charge of Administrative Affairs in Maritime Affairs, was received by the Minister for Women, Family, and Children, Nassénéba Touré, at her office in Plateau. Nassénéba Touré expressed pride in seeing a woman, the first of her kind, reach such a level within the Directorate of Maritime Affairs. She also offered practical advice to help her succeed in overcoming the challenges associated with this new role. The minister assured her of her full support and guidance in line with the mission of her ministry.
During both meetings, Lieutenant Colonel Ninsemon Kida Rose expressed her gratitude for the support from these high ranking officials. She was pleased with the advice she received and committed to putting it into practice. The senior officer once again thanked President Alassane Ouattara and her supervising minister, Serey Doh Célestin, for their trust. She promised to work with dedication and determination to tackle all the challenges ahead.
